About Mario Tennis

Mario Tennis for the Game Boy Color incorporates a role-playing structure set within the Royal Tennis Academy. Progression involves improving a character's tennis abilities by earning experience through matches and training exercises.

The central Mario Tour mode begins the player as a low-stat Rookie. Beyond matches, the academy grounds can be explored to interact with other characters. For direct competition, the game includes a quick-play exhibition option and supports two-player matches via a link cable.
