About Jurassic Boy

Jurassic Boy is a Game Boy Color platformer that is not an officially licensed product. Its gameplay draws loose inspiration from Sonic the Hedgehog, incorporating a system where the protagonist loses rings upon taking damage. The player controls Chen the Dinosaur, who pursues Dr. Crachi after this antagonist uses time travel to kidnap Chen's family.

Level design includes some loops to run through, but core mechanics like a rolling move or spindash are absent. The game's structure features seven stages, some of which offer branching paths and multiple exits. These exits can lead to different subsequent stages, with one even returning the player to the beginning. A defining addition in this Color version is the inclusion of a boss encounter at the conclusion of every stage.
