About Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone for the Game Boy Color adapts the first year at Hogwarts into a role-playing game. The player controls Harry, progressing through the narrative by completing quests and engaging in turn-based battles where various spells can be cast.

Exploration of the school grounds allows for the collection of items, including ingredients for potion-making and Famous Witches and Wizards Collector's Cards. These cards can be combined to create potent magical effects during play. Managing resources involves using potions to restore stamina and magic points, which can be found, purchased, or crafted.

A recurring objective involves earning points for Gryffindor house in pursuit of the House Cup. Several mini-games are integrated into the adventure and become available for separate access from the main menu once discovered.
