About E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial: Digital Companion

E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial: Digital Companion for the Game Boy Color functions primarily as an interactive organizer and collection of simple activities. Its foundation is a personal planner featuring a calendar, clock, and a task list, with data entry beginning through a series of introductory questions posed by E.T. about the user. Content from this planner can be printed using the Game Boy Printer accessory.

Interactive entertainment is provided through a set of five distinct mini-games. These include a timed bicycle race with obstacles, a trivia quiz on film and space topics, a tile-based puzzle with multiple difficulty levels, a matching game, and a word scramble that offers hints. Performance in these activities earns points which unlock pictures.

A separate virtual pet element involves caring for a creature called a Flopglopple through interaction, feeding, and play. The overall experience blends basic organizational tools with easy to fair casual games themed around the 1982 film.
