About Das Geheimnis der Happy Hippo-Insel

Das Geheimnis der Happy Hippo Insel is a platformer derived from the Happy Hippo toys found in Kinder Surprise eggs. The player controls Max Mutig, investigating the sudden reactivation of a volcano on Happy Hippo Island.

Progress is organized into six distinct areas, each containing three levels. A password system is used to resume play after completing an area, as the game lacks a save function. The core activity involves extinguishing fires caused by the eruption by collecting water drops.

Throughout the journey, Max encounters other hippos who provide new abilities, including climbing, diving, and using nuts as projectiles against threats. The design incorporates mini-games and is aimed at a younger audience, suggesting its pacing is easy.
