About Rockman EXE 4 : Tournament Blue Moon

Rockman EXE 4 : Tournament Blue Moon is an RPG entry in the Battle Network series. Players control Lan, a boy in the real world, and his Net Navi, Mega Man, within the Internet. The narrative follows a period of calm after a prior conflict, which is disrupted by an approaching asteroid and a vampiric Navi named ShadeMan who attacks others online.

Gameplay involves navigating both the physical and digital spaces. Lan interacts with people and objects directly, while jacking in switches control to Mega Man for net-based exploration and combat. Battles against random viruses blend turn-based and real-time elements, utilizing collected Battle Chips.

A central mechanic introduced is Soul Unison, a temporary power-up where Mega Man can merge with specific defeated Navis for three turns, requiring a particular Battle Chip to activate. The available Soul Unisons differ between this version and Red Sun, encouraging connectivity to trade exclusive chips and access all transformations or engage in Net Battles.
