About Ochaken no Heya

Ochaken no Heya is a virtual pet simulation where players care for stylized animals. These creatures, known as ochaken and ochaneko, are distinguished by tea leaves forming their ears.

Customization is a central activity, supported by a catalog of more than two hundred decorative items for the living space. To acquire these furnishings, players participate in a selection of card games and puzzles. The eight card-based and three puzzle-based minigames serve as the primary method for earning in-game currency.

A multiplayer function allows the card games to be experienced with others via the Game Boy Advance link cable, accommodating up to four participants. This title initiated a series based on the same licensed property.
