About Lufia : The Ruins of Lore

Lufia: The Ruins of Lore is a traditional Japanese role-playing game where players follow the journey of a treasure hunter named Eldin. His personal quest, driven by the disappearance of his father, expands into a larger conflict when he and his companions confront the Gratze kingdom's plan to revive an ancient creature.

The game's systems allow for strategic character development through a job class system, where abilities can be learned and combined. Combat is turn-based and initiated by contacting visible enemies on the field, with a positional advantage granted for striking first. A further layer of tactics involves capturing, upgrading, and even merging with monsters to augment the party's strength.

Set as a prequel, the narrative occurs decades prior to the events of another title in the series. The gameplay structure integrates exploration of ancient ruins with its customizable combat mechanics.
