About Fire Emblem

Fire Emblem is a turn based strategy game where players command a unique military unit. This group is composed of various specialized roles, including soldiers, magic users, and draconic allies or adversaries.

The narrative centers on escorting a Lycian heir back to her homeland through hostile territory. A defining and challenging mechanic is the permanent loss of characters who fall in combat, requiring careful tactical planning during engagements.

This release represented the series' initial introduction to audiences beyond Japan, featuring a completely new adventure.
