About Dead to Rights

Dead to Rights for the Game Boy Advance adapts its console counterpart into a top down shooter. The player assumes the role of Grant City police officer Jack Slate, whose investigation of a shooting in a Chinatown construction site leads to the discovery of his murdered father. This event sets the narrative in motion, requiring Jack to survive subsequent assassination attempts while uncovering the truth behind the killing.

Gameplay involves navigating environments from an overhead perspective and engaging enemies with firearms such as pistols, shotguns, and assault rifles, which are collected during play. Jack is not limited to ranged combat, as he can also utilize melee attacks. A key tactical option is a slow motion dive maneuver, enabling the targeting of multiple opponents in mid air. Additionally, Jack can command his canine partner, Shadow, to assist in combat by attacking foes directly.
