About Zombie Slayer

Zombie Slayer was one of those games you'd find buried in the Flash game portals of the late 2000s. It didn't try to be anything more than a straightforward action shooter, and that was its appeal. You loaded it up in your browser, and within seconds you were in the thick of it.

You control a lone survivor in a top-down arena. The moment-to-moment play is simple: you move with the W, A, and D keys, using the mouse to aim and fire at the shambling crowds that close in from all sides. Your main objective is just to survive each wave, clearing the screen to progress. You cycle through a small arsenal using the number keys, switching from a pistol to a shotgun or an assault rifle as the horde thickens. The pacing is relentless; the difficulty comes from being surrounded and the limited space to maneuver. It feels like a tense, chaotic scramble where every shot counts.
