About Zombie Storm
Zombie Storm was one of those games you'd find buried in the Flash game portals of the late 2000s. It didn't try to reinvent the genre. You were just a person with a gun, and the screen was full of zombies. That was the premise, and it was enough to kill an afternoon.
You control a lone survivor from a top-down view, moving with the arrow keys and aiming your cursor at the shuffling crowds. Your main job is to protect a handful of panicking civilians on each level, ensuring at least one makes it to the exit. You start with a weak pistol, but downed zombies drop cash for upgrades between rounds. Soon you're buying shotguns for their spread and machine guns for sustained fire, holding back waves that get denser with each stage. The pace is relentless; you're constantly circling your chosen survivor, prioritizing zombies that get too close. It creates a tense, almost frantic rhythm of movement and shooting that feels straightforward and demanding.
