About Wrax
Wrax was one of those games you'd find buried in the directories of a Flash portal, a simple puzzle title from that era when a browser could be a whole arcade. It didn't announce itself with much fanfare, just a grid of colored blocks waiting to be cleared.
You control a cursor, clicking on groups of two or more adjacent blocks of the same color to remove them. The main goal is to clear the entire board before it fills up. New rows of blocks steadily rise from the bottom, so you're always working against that creeping pressure. The strategy comes from planning your matches; clearing a large group might cause a cascade, but it also determines how the remaining pieces settle. The pace is constant, a quiet race against the screen's edge. It feels like organizing chaos, one careful click at a time.
