About Word Maze

Word Maze was one of those simple, straightforward games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't have elaborate graphics or a complex story. It was just there, a reliable little puzzle to click on when you had a few minutes to spare. The game fit right in with other browser based distractions from that time, offering a clean interface and an immediate task.

You control a small cursor, moving it through a grid of letters with the arrow keys. Your goal is to trace out a specific word by collecting its letters in sequence. The maze walls block your path, so you have to navigate around them to reach the next correct letter. Sometimes you'll hit dead ends and have to backtrack, which adds a light planning element to what seems like a simple hunt. The pace is generally calm, though it can tighten up in later levels as the mazes become more convoluted. It feels like a quiet, methodical test of your route finding patience.
