About Weirdville
Weirdville was one of those games you'd find in the middle of a Flash portal, a simple platformer from the era when a browser could be a console for an afternoon. It didn't have the polish of bigger studio releases, but it had a particular, blocky charm. You just clicked and started playing.
You control a small, round character navigating a maze of platforms and ladders. The moment to moment play is about movement and timing. You run left and right, climb up and down, and jump across gaps. The main objective is straightforward: collect coins scattered throughout the level to score points and eventually reach a red signpost to finish. Along the way, you might encounter enemies or obstacles that require quick jumps to avoid. The pacing is steady, and the difficulty feels fair, presenting challenges without being punishing. It feels like a quiet, focused test of basic coordination.
