About Get Set Boogie

Get Set Boogie was one of those games you'd find tucked away on a Flash portal in the mid-2000s. It was part of that wave of browser games that reinterpreted older titles, in this case drawing from the structure of the 1984 ZX Spectrum game Jet Set Willy. You didn't need to know the original to jump in; it was just there, a click away, ready to fill a few minutes between other tasks.

You control a small character, moving from room to room in a large, interconnected house. Your goal is simple: collect every record scattered across the map. The moment-to-moment play involves careful platforming, jumping between furniture and navigating tight spaces. Some rooms introduce hazards or enemies that reset your progress if you touch them, demanding a bit of patience. The pacing is methodical, almost exploratory, as you memorize layouts and plan routes to tricky items. It feels like a quiet, persistent puzzle of movement and memory.
