About Warlords: Heroes

Warlords: Heroes was one of those side-scrolling fighting games you'd find during the Flash era. It felt like a natural follow-up to games like Achilles and the earlier Warlords: Call to Arms, offering a similar style of combat in a familiar package. You loaded it up in your browser, and it was ready to go without any fuss.

You control a warrior moving from left to right across the screen. The moment-to-moment play is simple: you walk into enemies and attack. You use the arrow keys to move, with one key for your main weapon attack and another for a kick. Pressing down lets your character block incoming strikes. The main objective is to clear each stage by defeating every opponent in your path. The pacing is straightforward and the difficulty can spike, especially when you face multiple enemies at once. It feels like a direct, uncomplicated brawler where your success hinges on timing your blocks and choosing when to press the attack.
