About War Club

War Club was one of those simple, direct games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, competitive distraction, usually played right in your browser. The graphics were basic, the concept straightforward, and it fit perfectly into that time when a few minutes of fun was just a click away.

You control a club-wielding warrior on a small, elevated platform. Your goal is to knock the opponent off. Each turn, you adjust your angle with the arrow keys, then hold the spacebar to build power for your swing. Releasing the spacebar sends your character lunging forward with the club. The mechanics are all about timing and judging distance; a mistimed swing can leave you off-balance and vulnerable. The pacing is fast, with rounds ending quickly from a single good hit. It feels immediate and physical, a test of reflexes more than strategy.
