About Volcano
Volcano was one of those games you'd find buried on a Flash portal in the late 2000s. It didn't have a big studio name attached, just a simple premise that pulled you in. You were trying to get out, and the mountain itself was trying to stop you.
You control a small, glowing figure running up the side of a volcano. Lava chases you from below, rising in relentless waves. Your only tools are three transformation keys. Press one, and you become a panther to sprint over gaps. Another turns you into a monkey to climb vertical walls quickly. The last shifts you into a rat to squeeze through narrow tunnels in the rock. The goal is straightforward: outrun the lava flow to the summit. The pace is frantic. You have to swap forms constantly, judging each obstacle in a split second. A missed jump or a slow transformation means being swallowed by the heat. It feels like a desperate, scrambling climb where every second is a narrow escape.
