About The Empire

The Empire was one of those early Flash games you'd find on a browser gaming site. It came out in 2006, a time when simple strategy titles were common. You controlled an army from a top-down view, managing resources and troops in a medieval setting.

You start by building a castle and gathering gold from mines. Your main goal is to defeat the enemy's army and destroy their base. You spend your time training different units, like infantry and archers, and moving them across the map to engage the opponent. The game requires you to manage your economy while attacking, which creates a steady back-and-forth pace. It feels like a condensed version of a larger real-time strategy game, focused on constant, small-scale conflict.
