About Stalingrad

Stalingrad was a Flash tower defense game from the mid 2000s. It appeared on many gaming portals during that era, a time when these browser based strategy games were common. The setting was the Eastern Front of World War II, a familiar backdrop for many games of its type.

You control the Soviet defenses. Your task is to place machine gun nests, anti tank guns, and artillery pieces along the paths German units will take. The goal is simple: stop them from reaching your command post. Between waves, you use earned resources to build new emplacements or upgrade existing ones for more power. You learn to watch for different unit types; infantry swarms require different solutions than armored columns. The pacing is steady, with each successful wave letting you reinforce for a harder one. It feels like a constant puzzle of positioning and resource management against a relentless clock.
