About Stalingrad Sprint
Stalingrad Sprint was one of those straightforward action games from the Flash era. You would find it on a gaming portal, load it up in your browser, and be playing within seconds. It fit right in with the simple, immediate titles of that time.
You control a lone soldier running from left to right across a battlefield. The main objective is to survive the sprint to the end of each stage. You use the arrow keys to move, dodging craters and incoming artillery fire that falls from above. The space bar lets you fire your rifle at enemy soldiers who appear in your path, but you cannot stop moving for long. The pacing is relentless, and the difficulty comes from managing your movement while reacting to threats from both the ground and the sky. It feels like a tense, constant scramble where a moment's hesitation ends your run.
