About Spitwad

Spitwad was one of those simple Flash games you'd find in the late 2000s. It fit right in with the era's quick, physics-based browser games you played between classes or during a short break. The visuals were basic, just a few colors and shapes on a plain background, which was typical for the time.

You control a small character, a student, who stands at one side of the screen. With your mouse, you aim a trajectory line and adjust the power of your shot. Your goal is to launch a spitwad at the opponent across from you, another student controlled by the computer or a second player. The game plays out in turns, with each shot influenced by a simple physics system. You have to account for the arc of your throw and sometimes obstacles in the way. The rounds are fast, and missing feels like your own fault for misjudging the angle. It feels like a quick test of your aim and patience.
