Space

Space was one of those simple games you'd find during the Flash era. It appeared on sites where you could play for free, often without much fanfare about who made it. The goal was straightforward, a common setup for those quick browser games.

You control a small ship, moving it left and right across the bottom of the screen. Your job is to collect coins and power-ups that fall from above before a rival alien ship can grab them. Between levels, you use the money you've gathered to buy upgrades for your ship, like better speed or weapons. The mouse handles all the interaction, making it easy to pick up. The pace is steady, but it gets more demanding as the alien competitor becomes quicker. It feels like a tense race against a clock you can't quite see.
