About Seaside Shuffle
Seaside Shuffle was one of those simple, colorful puzzle games that felt right at home in the Flash era. You'd find it on a gaming portal between classes or during a slow afternoon, a quick distraction with a cheerful beach theme. It didn't try to be anything more than a straightforward matching game, and that was its appeal.
You control the game entirely with your mouse, clicking on adjacent seashells on a grid to swap their positions. The goal is to form rows or columns of three or more identical shells, which then vanish from the board. New shells fall from the top to fill the gaps, often creating chain reactions. The pace is steady, neither frantic nor overly slow, but the board can become cluttered if you aren't planning a move or two ahead. It feels like a calm, methodical exercise in sorting and order.
