About Rufus Snow Ride

Rufus Snow Ride was one of those simple, straightforward games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick distraction, something to play for a few minutes between other tasks. The visuals were clean and cartoonish, fitting right in with the other casual titles of that time.

You control a snowboarder, presumably named Rufus, as he descends an endless slope. The main goal is to travel as far as possible while performing tricks to boost your score. You use the arrow keys to steer left and right, avoiding trees and rocks that appear on the path. Pressing the spacebar makes you jump, and while in the air, you can press the number keys to execute different flips and spins. The game picks up speed gradually, making the timing of your jumps and landings more critical. It feels responsive and immediate, a game of quick reflexes where a single mistake sends you tumbling. The experience is a focused, rhythmic test of coordination.
