About Romanius

Romanius was one of those straightforward action games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, satisfying way to spend a few minutes. You played as a lone warrior, set against a relentless army of cyclops soldiers.

You control the warrior with the left and right arrow keys, moving across a flat battlefield. The A key is your basic attack, D defends, and S makes you jump. The main objective is to survive the waves of enemies and defeat them all. When you collect blue potions, pressing the spacebar unleashes a more powerful area attack, which is crucial for thinning out groups. The pacing is constant, with new cyclops soldiers advancing steadily, and the difficulty comes from managing their numbers with your limited moves. It feels like a simple, persistent skirmish where every potion and well-timed defense matters.
