About Rock Garden
Rock Garden was one of those quiet, thoughtful games from the Flash era. It didn't have explosions or a story. It was just you and a grid of colored stones, a digital puzzle to solve when you had a few minutes to spare. The presentation was simple, with a clean interface that felt more like a tool than a game.
You control a cursor, clicking and dragging rocks across a tiled garden. The goal is straightforward: group all the stones of the same color together. Each move slides an entire row or column, pushing every rock in that line until one hits a wall or another stone. This creates a chain reaction, where clearing one cluster often scrambles another. The puzzles start gently, but the difficulty builds as the garden expands and the color count increases. It feels like untangling a knot with your mind, a slow and satisfying process of planning and rearrangement.
