About Robodome
Robodome was one of those straightforward arena shooters you'd find in the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, focused game you could play in a browser. The graphics were simple, the controls were immediate, and it fit right into that category of games you'd load up during a break.
You control a lone fighter in a square, walled arena. Your goal is to survive wave after wave of robots that teleport in. You move with the arrow keys, using Z to fire your weapon and X to raise a temporary shield. The early robots are slow and predictable, but they quickly become more aggressive. They start dodging your shots, flanking you, and firing in patterns that force you to keep moving. The pace is relentless; you're constantly circling, blocking incoming fire, and trying to land shots between their movements. It feels like a tense, scrambling fight where a single mistake can end your run.
