About Rain Of Balls
Rain of Balls was one of those simple Flash games you'd find in the late 2000s. It didn't have a complicated story or fancy graphics. You just loaded it in your browser and started playing. The screen was usually a plain background, maybe blue or black, with a little character at the bottom. I remember it being a teddy bear, but sometimes it was just a block or a paddle. The goal was straightforward: survive.
You control that character with the left and right arrow keys, sliding it back and forth along the bottom of the screen. Balls of different colors and sizes fall from the top. Your only job is to avoid letting any of them touch you. As time passes, more balls appear, and they fall faster. The game doesn't really have levels in a traditional sense; the difficulty just ramps up continuously until you make a mistake. It creates a tense, almost hypnotic rhythm of dodging. You focus on the gaps between the descending shapes, making small, precise movements. The game feels like a pure test of concentration and reflexes, where a single lapse ends everything.
