About Rainbow Blitz
Rainbow Blitz was one of those games you'd find in the late 2000s, tucked away on a Flash game portal. It fit right in with the era's simple, colorful, and often frantic puzzle games. You'd load it up in your browser, and it was ready to go in seconds.
You control a cursor, using your mouse to click and drag colored orbs. The main objective is to clear the board by matching groups of three or more orbs of the same color. As you clear them, new orbs drop in from the top, and the game keeps a timer running. You have to manage a growing field while avoiding the bombs that appear; if a bomb's timer reaches zero, the game ends. The pace is quick, demanding both speed and a bit of foresight to set up larger chain reactions. It feels like a race against a clock that's always ticking just a little faster than you'd like.
