About Raft Wars
Raft Wars was one of those games you'd find on a Flash game site in the mid-2000s. It had that simple, cartoonish look common to the era, and it loaded right in your browser. You didn't need an account or a download, just a bit of time and a mouse.
You control two brothers, Simon and his younger sibling, defending a treasure on their inflatable raft. Each turn, you aim a projectile, adjusting the angle and power with your mouse before letting it fly. Your goal is to knock all the pirates off their rafts across the water. You have a limited arsenal, starting with tennis balls and unlocking other items like grenades as you progress. The game is turn-based, so you shoot, then wait for the enemy's return fire. The physics are floaty and a bit unpredictable, which makes lining up the perfect shot satisfying. It starts simply but introduces new enemy types and obstacles that force you to think about bounce shots and timing. The game feels like a silly, strategic duel where a well-placed shot can turn the tide.
