Powerfox

You pilot the aircraft with the mouse, moving it around confined arena-like maps. The goal is to eliminate all the enemy ships that appear. You fire your main weapon automatically, and you collect power-ups that change your shot pattern, like spreading your fire or increasing its rate. The pacing is quick, with enemies swarming in from all sides, and the difficulty ramps up steadily as you progress through the levels. It feels like a constant, hectic dance of evasion and return fire.
