About Parkiss

Parkiss was one of those simple, direct games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't have a complicated backstory or elaborate graphics. You just loaded it up in your browser and started playing. The premise was straightforward, and it fit right in with the quick, accessible experiences that defined that time online.

You control a boy and a girl, using your mouse to click on one to make them move toward the other for a kiss. Each successful kiss adds to your score. The challenge comes from avoiding the patrolling guard or other characters who will end the game if they see you. The gameplay is a cycle of waiting, darting in for a kiss when the coast is clear, and then quickly hiding again. It moves at a brisk pace, and the penalty for being caught is immediate. The feeling is one of playful, slightly nervous anticipation as you try to time your clicks just right.
