About Nob War
Nob War was one of those games you'd find buried in the directories of a Flash gaming site. It belonged to that era where a simple concept and clean visuals were enough to occupy an afternoon. The game presented a straightforward medieval conflict, pitting your forces against a variety of fantasy opponents across a map.
You control a king, represented by a crown, and command a growing army of little soldier sprites. Your main objective is to capture every castle on the map, twenty in total. Moment to moment, you click on your castle to muster troops, then click again to send them marching toward an enemy stronghold. The mechanics are basic but require some timing; you must balance building your own forces with launching attacks before the enemy overwhelms you. The pace is methodical, building to large clashes where dozens of units meet in the field. It feels like directing a slow, determined tide of little men across the screen.
