About Naked Melee

Naked Melee was one of those games you'd find buried in a Flash portal, a simple distraction from the mid-2000s web. It didn't have a big studio behind it, just a straightforward premise that pulled you in for a few minutes at a time. You loaded it up in your browser, and it was ready to go without any fuss.

You control a small, unarmed character with your mouse, running them around a single screen. The goal is to survive waves of alien creatures by summoning minions to fight for you. Clicking on the spawning pods calls forth these helpers, and you have to manage their numbers while dodging enemy attacks. The pace picks up quickly, and the screen can get crowded with both your units and the aliens. It becomes a frantic scramble to keep your summoner alive as the difficulty ramps up. The game feels like a chaotic, mouse-clicking race against an ever-growing tide.
