About Zerg Shooter
Zerg Shooter was one of those games you'd find buried in a Flash portal in the late 2000s. It didn't have a big studio name attached, just a simple, clear premise. You loaded it up in your browser, and for a few minutes, it was a straightforward way to pass the time.
You control a lone marine in a top-down arena. The objective is simple: survive. Waves of zerg creatures, starting with slow zerglings, pour in from the edges of the screen. You move with the arrow keys and fire with the mouse, your cursor painting a line of bullets toward the nearest target. As you kill enemies, you earn points; collecting certain power-ups can temporarily change your weapon or increase your fire rate. The pacing is relentless. The screen quickly fills, and the difficulty spikes when larger, tougher units arrive. It feels like a frantic scramble to stay alive just a few seconds longer.
