About Mud Fighting
Mud Fighting was one of those simple, silly games that felt typical of the Flash era. You'd find it on a website cluttered with other distractions, a quick break between other tasks. It didn't try to be anything more than a lighthearted bit of fun.
You control one of four kids standing in a row, each armed with a clump of mud. The goal is to hit your opponents in the face before they hit you. You click and hold to charge your throw, a meter filling to show your power, then release to let the mud fly. The angle is fixed, so timing and judging the charge are everything. You can also select a larger mud type from a menu, which changes the projectile's size. The rounds are fast, often ending with all the characters sporting a messy splat. It feels like a playful, chaotic argument captured in a few seconds.
