About Monster Baby

Monster Baby was one of those simple, straightforward games you'd find during the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick distraction, the kind of thing you'd play for a few minutes between other tasks. The visuals were bright and cartoonish, fitting right in with the other casual titles that filled gaming websites at the time.

You control a small, green monster tasked with caring for a giant, crying baby. Your moment-to-moment play involves running back and forth across the screen, jumping to avoid rolling baby bottles that come from the crib. You collect baby powder canisters that act as a power-up, letting you move faster for a short time. The main objective is to soothe the baby by collecting a certain number of pacifiers scattered around the room before a timer runs out. The pacing is insistent, with the bottles constantly threatening to knock you over and the clock always ticking down. It feels like a frantic, silly race against a very loud and demanding infant.
