About Monoliths Mario World 2
Monoliths Mario World 2 was one of those Flash games you'd find on a fan site in the late 2000s. It felt like a personal project, a reinterpretation of familiar platforming ideas made for a browser window.
You control Mario through a series of side scrolling levels. The main goal is simple: reach the flagpole at the end. You move with the arrow keys, jump with the A key, and a run button lets you make slightly higher leaps. The levels are compact, often requiring precise jumps over gaps and past enemies like Goombas. The pacing is quick, with little room for error on some of the trickier platforms. It feels like a focused, slightly demanding take on the formula.
