About Little Rocketman

Little Rocketman was one of those games you'd find in the later days of Flash, a simple platformer that didn't ask for much. It appeared around 2009, a creation of the developer known as Nitrome. You loaded it in a browser tab, and it just started running, no fuss.

You control a small character with rockets for feet. The moment to moment play is about timing your jumps from one floating platform to the next. You click the mouse to ignite his rockets, launching him upward, and then you guide his fall. The main objective is straightforward: reach the final platform in each world to progress. The mechanics involve managing your fuel, as each burst consumes it, and navigating hazards like moving obstacles or gaps that require precise leaps. The pacing is quick, and the difficulty comes from the need for accuracy rather than complex puzzles. It feels like a test of your patience and your click.
