About Starcatcher

Starcatcher was one of those simple, bright games you'd find during the Flash era. It appeared online around 2006, a time when quick, browser-based puzzles were common. The game didn't try to be complicated; it presented a clear, colorful space and a straightforward task.

You control a small character, moving left and right with the arrow keys and jumping with the spacebar. Your goal in each compact level is to collect a specific number of coins scattered around the platforms and then touch the star that appears. The mechanics are basic platforming, but the challenge comes from the level design. You navigate small, self-contained puzzles, figuring out the order to grab coins or timing your jumps to avoid hazards. The pacing is quick, with most levels taking only a few seconds to complete if you solve them correctly. It feels like a series of little logic tests wrapped in a cheerful, uncluttered package.
