About Linear Assault
Linear Assault was one of those straightforward shooters you'd find in the Flash era. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, focused game you could play in a browser. The screen was simple, just you and the incoming lines of enemies.
You control a small ship at the bottom of the screen. Your job is to survive. You move left and right, firing upward at the descending formations. The enemies come in rigid lines, and breaking their patterns is the main challenge. The pace is steady, but a single mistake can end your run quickly. It feels like a tense, methodical exercise in precision.
