About Laberinto

Laberinto was one of those games you'd find tucked away on a Flash portal in the early 2000s. It didn't have a big studio name attached to it, just a simple concept that pulled you in for a few minutes between other tasks. The screen was usually a grid of tiles, and the goal was straightforward: get from the start to the exit.

You control a small character, often a simple block or a stylized figure, using your mouse to click on adjacent tiles to move. Each step is a deliberate choice, as the maze walls are fixed and a wrong turn means backtracking. The main objective is to navigate the increasingly complex layouts without any time pressure, which lets you plan your route. You'll encounter dead ends that force you to retrace your steps, and sometimes the paths loop in on themselves. The difficulty comes from the maze's design, not from speed or reflexes. It feels like a quiet, methodical puzzle where your only opponent is the layout on the screen.
