Kogent Knight

You control the knight from a side view, moving left and right across platforms. The basic actions are walking, jumping, and using a few different attacks, like a strong swing and a quicker stab. You also have a block, which becomes necessary because the enemies come at you steadily. The goal is to fight through each stage, dealing with various foes and environmental hazards, to reach the princess. The game moves at a brisk pace, and the difficulty comes from managing your position and timing your strikes against groups. It feels like a direct, no-frills test of your reflexes and patience.
