About Invasion 3
Invasion 3 was one of those games you'd find in the later days of the Flash era, a straightforward strategy title built for a browser. It didn't try to be anything more than a quick, tactical diversion between other tasks. The release year isn't something I recall clearly, and the developer's name has faded for me, but the core premise stuck around.
You control a side, purchasing different military units from a list at the bottom of the screen. Each click sends a soldier, tank, or aircraft marching automatically toward the enemy's fortress across the field. Your main goal is to break through their defenses and destroy their castle before they do the same to yours. You manage a limited budget, choosing which units to deploy and when, while watching the chaotic clashes in the middle of the map. The pace is constant, with a steady stream of units from both sides, and the difficulty comes from making cost-effective choices under pressure. It feels like directing a noisy, persistent little war from a very safe distance.
