Ice Age

You control the saber-toothed squirrel, Scrat, with just your mouse. The core loop involves clicking and dragging to pull back his head, building up tension, then releasing to launch him across a frozen landscape. You're trying to send him flying as far as possible, often bouncing him off icy slopes or using makeshift ramps. The challenge comes from judging the angle and power of your shot, as a bad launch sends him tumbling into a crevasse. It had that quick, try-again pace where each attempt only took a few seconds. The game feels like a lighthearted test of timing, where a perfect shot sends Scrat pinwheeling comically into the distance.
