You control a character on a dance floor, using your mouse to click on arrows as they scroll toward a target. The main objective is to hit the correct arrows in time with the beat to keep your dancer moving. The mechanics involve matching the directional prompts and, in some versions, perhaps clicking on other items that appear, like boomboxes or hats, to score extra points. The pace starts slow but picks up as the song continues, and missing too many cues can cause your character to stumble. It feels like a straightforward test of rhythm and mouse precision, a quick way to pass a few minutes with a catchy tune.
