About Hexa
Hexa was one of those games you'd find on a Flash portal in the mid-2000s. It didn't have a complicated story or fancy graphics. It was just there, a simple grid waiting to be filled. You'd load it up in your browser, maybe during a study break or a slow afternoon at work, and it would immediately demand your attention.
You control a cursor, clicking to drop colored blocks into a hexagonal grid. The blocks fall from the top, and you have to place them to create rows of three matching colors. The rows can be vertical or diagonal, which makes you think about the angles as much as the straight lines. The main goal is to clear as many rows as you can before the timer runs out and the grid fills up. The pace is steady, almost methodical at first, but the timer adds a quiet pressure that builds with every move. It feels like a quiet puzzle, a test of spatial reasoning where a single misplaced block can quickly complicate your entire plan.
