About Happy Heks

Happy Heks was one of those games you'd find in the early 2000s, tucked away on a Flash game portal. It had that simple, hand-drawn look common to the era, a small project made for a quick bit of fun. You played as a witch, a cheerful one judging by the title, sent out on a straightforward errand.

You guide her through a series of side-scrolling levels, moving left and right with the arrow keys and jumping over gaps. Your main goal is to collect specific ingredients scattered around each stage, presumably for a potion. Along the way, you use a basic attack, often a magic projectile, to clear out the various creatures blocking your path. The pace is steady, with a difficulty that feels fair for a casual player; it doesn't throw too many surprises at you. The experience is light and uncomplicated, a short distraction built on familiar platforming actions.
